Becky Levin's guiding vision is the foundation of the company's longevity. Becky's career with retained search firms began in 1981, when the biotechnology industry was in its infancy. In 1985, she founded her own executive search firm, which grew and expanded into other industries, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, instrumentation, and health services. As a search consultant, Becky has successfully advised a variety of companies, ranging from small start-ups to multi-national corporations.

Under her guidance, Levin & Company has built one of the highest closure rates in the search industry. Continually expanding the horizons of Levin & Company, Becky conceived the Corporate Governance program in the mid-1990’s by observing the lack of diversity at the Board level. Today, the Governance Practice represents approximately a quarter of the firm’s assignments.

Levin & Company's clients experience many benefits while working with Becky:

  • Becky listens to the needs of the client, then applies her experience and knowledge of their specialized industry to develop a targeted candidate specification.
  • Her long-standing connections in the Life Sciences industry help her identify – and attract – "A" list candidates.
  • Recognizing the time limitations of most clients, Becky provides a quality - rather than quantity - search experience.

Becky's strong command of client relations, her ability to recognize the skills, values, and core talents sought, and her critical assessment of potential candidates as she champions the company's needs, have made Levin & Company one of the most trusted and respected firms in the search industry. As a prestige consultant for successful, high-growth life sciences companies, Becky believes in providing a dedicated service approach to executive search. In addition, Becky, on a selected basis, will consult with individual clients on matters relating to search overview, company-wide staffing and industry-related issues within life sciences.

Over the years, Becky has served on a number of Boards, including The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Care and the Newport International Film Festival. Becky is actively involved as a philanthropist with regards to healthcare, children’s issues, and the arts. Pavone Images, Inc. is an art-based company she co-founded which contributes to many international and national charities.

Becky received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Becky was chosen as the Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics' 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient from UNCG.
